HI-D’s debut album under Def Jam Japan label. It overall is a great debut in my opinion. There are a few songs that are a little annoying. However, there are more great tracks to balance out the album. Includes the singles Girlfriends & 君がいるから. Also check out the songs Come Closer, and How Many Times. That song is in english and a wonderful song.

Eriko’s first solo album after SPEED broke up. Over all it is a very catchy upbeat album. The early singles with “CRUNCH” were great, but my favorite song on this album is “Set me free!” Still one of my favorite songs to listen too today.

Was just thinking today that I bought this album right about this time 10 years ago. Time sure does fly. So thought I would give it a listen today. Overall it is still a good album with good to really good songs. m-flo is featured (sorta) on track 3 Livin’ Large. m-flo produced that track. That is probably my favorite song on the album along with Fly, and Five True Love

SPEED – SPEEDLAND

New Speed album finally arrived! This much like the MAX album I posted, this is a Remix of their best songs. Only difference is, this is MUCH better! haha. I really love this album. I got the first press edition which came with poster & cellphone strap. While listening to the CD, I realized that this is what Jpop is all about. This is Jpop at its very best!

The DVD videos are great too, 熱帯夜 is so great, compared to the original video. The video files included are ipod ready, H.264 mp4 format. If you want the DVD version of this, I will be seeding it on Jpopsuki.

After a three year hiatus, Speed returned to this album. This album was a surprise return for me. It was part of the ‘Save the Children’ charity project, and every song was produced by different other artists like Tommy February6, Tsunku, Gospellers, and others. Over all it’s a good album, but at the time was sad that it was a one time deal.

Speed’s third original album. It was also their last before they broke up. I am aware I skipped their album RISE, I did because it was already posted by Biscuits earlier. This album had a much more R&B, and grown-up feel to it. This was also the first album to be #1 on the charts for the first week of the new millennium. Probably my favorite SPEED album to date. I love Long Way Home, and Aoi Regret.

m-flo – EXPO EXPO

This is probably my favorite m-flo album. I am not too high on them these days, with the m-flo ♥ thing. I miss LISA as the lead vocal, I think they had great chemistry together. Anyway, EXPO EXPO has a lot of great tracks like orbit-3, prism, How you like me now? and all flows pretty well together.
